As a partner of Kohlmeyer Hagen Law Office Chtd., located in Mankato, Minnesota, Thomas Hagen has built his practice on personal service and attention to detail.

Practicing exclusively in criminal defense and workers’ compensation, Mr. Hagen has successfully defended clients against allegations of sexual assault, DUI and DWI, drug crimes and serious felonies.

Tom was named a Rising Star by Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine from 2012 – 2021. This prestigious award is limited to no more than 2.5% lawyers under the age of 40 in the State of Minnesota. Tom is a member of numerous professional associations including the American Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar and Minnesota Association for Justice.

Having handled many high-profile cases, he has been interviewed by the New York Times, USA Today, NBC Dateline, as well as the Minneapolis Star Tribune. His book Arrested for DWI in Minnesota lays the foundation for a non-lawyer to survive after being charged with a DWI in Minnesota. It’s available on Amazon.com in both hard copy and Kindle edition.

During his free time, Tom enjoys bow hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys attending classic 80s rock band concerts.
